Grace/to you and peace/from God our Fa-ther
and from/the Lord Je-sus Christ.
Worship the Lord in/the beauty of his holi-ness;
let/the whole earth trem-ble/be-fore him.
Let/my prayer/be set forth/in your sight as in-cense,
the lifting up of/my hands as/the evening sacri-fice.
I/will bless the Lord who gives/me coun-sel;
my heart teaches me, night after night.
I/have set/the Lord always be-fore me;
be-cause he is/at my right hand, I shall not fall.
O God, make speed/to save us.
O Lord, make haste/to help us.
Glory to/the Fath-er, and to/the Son,
and to/the Ho-ly Spi-rit:
as it was in/the be-ginning, is now,
and will be for-ever A-men.
Sunday - O Gracious Light
Tenor Soprano Response Cantor Bass Alto PDF All
O gracious light, pure bright-ness
of the ever-living Father in heav-en,
O Je-sus Christ, holy and bless-ed!
we sing your praises, O God!
Now as/we come to/the setting of/the sun,
and our eyes be-hold/the vesper light,
we sing your praises, O God:
Father, Son, and Ho-ly Spi-rit.
You are worthy at all times
to be praised by happy voic-es,
O Son of God, O Giver of life,
and/to be glori-fied through all the worlds.
Psalms
Psalm 8

O Lord, our Lord, how mag-nifi-cent
is your repu-tation through-out the earth!
You re-veal your majes-ty in/the heavens a-bove!
From the mouths of children and nursing ba-bies
You have or-dained praise on/ac-count of your adver-sar-ies,
so that you might put/an end to/the vin-dictive ene-mies.
When I look up at/the heavens, which your fingers made,
and see the moon and/the stars, which you set in place,
Of what im-portance is the human race,
that you should no-tice them?
Of what im-portance is man-kind,
that you should pay at-tention to them?
You made them a little less than the heaven-ly be-ings.
You crowned man-kind with honor and majes-ty.
you ap-point them to rule over your cre-a-tion;
you have placed every-thing under their au-thori-ty,
in-cluding all the sheep and cat-tle,
as well as the wild ani-mals,
the birds in/the sky, the fish in/the sea
and every-thing that moves through the currents of/the sea.
Glory to/the Fath-er, and to/the Son,
and to/the Ho-ly Spi-rit:
as it was in/the be-ginning, is now,
and will be for ever A-men.
Psalm 84
Tenor Soprano Response Cantor Bass Alto PDF All
How lovely is the place where you live,
O Lord of Heaven's Ar-my!
I desper-ately want to be
in/the courts of/the Lord's tem-ple.
My heart and my en-tire be-ing
shout for joy to/the living God.
Even the birds find/a home there,
and the swallow builds a nest,
where she can pro-tect her young
near your altar, O Lord of Heaven's Ar-my,
my king and my God.
How blessed are those who live in your tem-ple
and praise you con-tinual-ly!
How blessed are those who find their strength in you,
and long to travel the roads
that lead to your tem-ple!
As they pass through the Ba-ca Val-ley,
he pro-vides a spring for them.
The rain even covers it with pools of wat-er.
They are sus-tained as they travel a-long;
each one ap-pears be-fore God in Zi-on.
O Lord God of Heaven's Ar-my, hear my prayer!
Listen, O God of Ja-cob, and notice our shield!
Show con-cern for your chosen king!
Certain-ly spending just one day
in the courts of your tem-ple
is better than spending a thousand days
any-where _ else on/the earth.
I would rather stand be-fore the temple of my God
than live in/the tents of/the wick-ed.
For the Lord God is our sovereign pro-tec-tor.
The Lord be-stows favor and hon-or;
he with-holds no good thing
from those who have in-tegri-ty.
O Lord of Heaven's Ar-my,
how blessed are those who trust in you!
Glory to/the Fath-er, and to/the Son,
and to/the Ho-ly Spi-rit:
as it was in/the be-ginning, is now,
and will be for ever A-men.
Readings
Sunday - Song of Moses
Tenor Soprano Response Cantor Bass Alto PDF All
I will sing to/the Lord,
for he is lofty and up-lift-ed;
the horse and its rid-er
has he hurled into the sea.
The Lord is my strength and my ref-uge;
the Lord has be-come my Sav-ior.
This is my God and I will praise him,
the God of my people and I will ex-alt him.
The Lord is a mighty warri-or;
Yah-weh is his holy Name.
The chari-ots of Phar-oah and his ar-my
has he hurled into the sea;
The finest of those who bear ar-mor
have been drowned in/the Red Sea.
The fathom-less deep has over-whelmed them;
they sank into the depths like a stone.
Your right hand, O Lord,
is glori-ous and might-y;
your right hand, O Lord,
has over-thrown the ene-my.
Who can be com-pared with you,
O Lord, a-mong the gods?
who is like you,
glori-ous in ho-li-ness,
Awe-some in re-nown,
and work-er of won-ders?
You stretched forth your right hand;
the earth swal-lowed them up.
With your con-stant love
you led the people you re-deemed;
with your might you brought them in safe-ty
to your holy dwell-ing place.
You will bring them in and plant them
on the mount of your pos-ses-sion,
In/the rest-ing place
you have made for your-self, O Lord,
In/the sanctu-ary, O Lord,
that your hand has es-tab-lished.
The Lord shall reign
for ever and for ever. A-men!
Glory to/the Fath-er, and to/the Son,
and to/the Ho-ly Spi-rit:
as it was in/the be-ginning, is now,
and will be for ever A-men.
A reading from John 3:16-21
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. "Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Those who believe in him are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. For all who do evil hate the light and do not come to the light, so that their deeds may not be exposed. But those who do what is true come to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God. "
Here ends the reading.
Thanks be to God!
Sunday - Song of Praise

Glory to you, Lord God of our fath-ers;
you are worthy of praise; glory to you.
Glory to you for/the radi-ance of your holy Name;
we will praise you and highly ex-alt you for ev-er.
Glory to you in/the splen-dor of your tem-ple;
on the throne of your maj-es-ty, glory to you.
Glory to you, seated be-tween the Cher-u-bim;
we will praise you and highly ex-alt you for ev-er.
Glory to you, be-hold-ing the depths;
in the high vault of heav-en, glory to you.
Glory to you, Fath-er, Son, and Ho-ly Spi-rit;
we will praise you and highly ex-alt you for ev-er.

We/be-lieve in God, the Father al-might-y,
cre-ator of heaven and earth.
We/be-lieve in Je-sus Christ,
his on-ly son, our Lord.
He was/con-ceived by/the power of/the Ho-ly Spi-rit
and born of/the Vir-gin Mar-y.
He suffered under Pon-tius Pi-late,
was cruci-fied, died, and was bur-ied.
He de-scended to/the dead.
On/the third day he rose a-gain.
He a-scended into heav-en,
and is seated at/the right hand of/the Fath-er.
He will come a-gain
to judge the living and the dead.
We/be-lieve in/the Ho-ly Spi-rit,
the _ holy catho-lic Church,
the com-munion of saints,
the for-give-ness of sins,
the resur-rec-tion of/the bod-y,
and the life ever-lasting. A-men.

The Lord be with you.
And al-so with _ you.
Our Father in heav-en,

Your king-dom come,
your will be done on earth
as/it is in heav-en.

That this evening may be holy, good, and peace-ful,
We en-treat you, O Lord.
That your holy angels may lead us in paths of peace and good-will,
We en-treat you, O Lord.

We en-treat you, O Lord.
Collect of the Day
O God, you have prepared for those who love you such good things as surpass our understanding: Pour into our hearts such love towards you, that we, loving you in all things and above all things, may obtain your promises, which exceed all that we can desire; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
A Collect for Sundays
Lord God, whose Son our Savior Jesus Christ triumphed over the powers of death and prepared for us our place in the new Jerusalem: Grant that we, who have this day given thanks for his resurrection, may praise you in that City of which he is the light, and where he lives and reigns for ever and ever.
Amen.
Prayer for Mission
O God and Father of all, whom the whole heavens adore: Let the whole earth also worship you, all nations obey you, all tongues confess and bless you, and men and women everywhere love you and serve you in peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
A Prayer of Saint Chrysostom
Tenor Soprano Response Cantor Bass Alto PDF All
Al-might-y God,
you have given us grace at this time
with one ac-cord
to make our common suppli-cation to you;
and you have prom-ised
through your well be-loved Son
that when two/or three are gathered in his Name
you will be in/the midst of them:
Ful-fill now, O Lord, our de-sires and pe-ti-tions
as may be best for us;
granting us in this world knowledge of your truth,
and in/the age to come life ever-lasting. A-men.
