Grace to you and peace from God our Fa-ther
and from/the Lord Je-sus Christ.
Wor-ship the Lord in/the beau-ty of his holi-ness;
let the whole earth trem-ble be-fore him.
Let my prayer be set forth in your sight as in-cense,
the lifting up of my hands as the eve-ning sacri-fice.
I will bless the Lord who gives me coun-sel;
my heart teaches me, night after night.
I have set the Lord al-ways be-fore me;
be-cause he is at my right hand, I shall not fall.
O God, make speed to save us.
O Lord, make haste to help us.
Glory to/the Fath-er, and to/the Son,
and to/the Ho-ly Spi-rit:
as it was in/the be-ginning, is now,
and will be for-ever A-men.
Monday - O Gracious Light
Tenor Soprano Response Cantor Bass Alto PDF All
O gra-cious light, pure bright-ness
of the ever-liv-ing Fath-er in heav-en,
O Je-sus Christ, holy and bless-ed!
we sing your prais-es, O God!
Now as we come to/the setting of/the sun,
and our eyes be-hold the ves-per light,
we sing your prais-es, O God:
Fath-er, Son, and Ho-ly Spi-rit.
You are worthy at all times
to be praised by happy voic-es,
O Son of God, O Giver of life,
and to be glori-fied through all the worlds.

Psalm 64
Tenor Soprano Cantor Bass Alto PDF All Response
List-en to me, O God, as I offer my la-ment!
Pro-tect my life from/the ene-my's terri-fy-ing at-tack.
Hide me from/the plots of evil men,
from the crowd of e-vil-do-ers.
They sharpen their tongues like a sword;
they aim their arrow, a slander-ous charge,
in order to shoot down the inno-cent in se-cluded plac-es.
They shoot at him sudden-ly and are una-fraid of re-tali-a-tion.
They en-courage one an-other to carry out their evil deeds.
They plan how to hide snares, and boast,
Who will see them?
They de-vise un-just schemes;
They dis-guise a well con-ceived plot.
Man's inner thoughts can't be dis-co-vered.
But God will shoot at them;
sudden-ly they will be wounded by an ar-row.
Their slander will bring a-bout their de-mise.
All who see them will shud-der,
and all people will fear.
They will pro-claim what God has done,
And re-flect on his deeds.
The god-ly will re-joice in/the Lord
and take shelter in him.
All the moral-ly up-right will boast.
Glory to/the Fath-er, and to/the Son,
and to/the Ho-ly Spi-rit:
as it was in/the be-ginning, is now,
and will be for ever A-men.
Psalm 65

Praise a-waits you, O God, in Zi-on.
Vows made to you are ful-filled.
You hear our prayers;
all _ people ap-proach you.
Our re-cord of sins over-whelms me,
but you for-give our acts of re-bel-lion.
How blessed is the one whom you choose,
and al-low to live in your pal-ace court.
May we be sat-is-fied
with the good things of your house, your holy pal-ace.
You an-swer our prayers
by per-form-ing awe-some acts of de-liver-ance,
O God, our sav-ior.
All the ends of/the earth trust in you,
As well as those liv-ing a-cross the wide sea.
You cre-at-ed the mountains by your power,
And dem-on-strat-ed your strength.
You calm the raging seas and their roar-ing waves,
As well as the com-mo-tion made by/the na-tions.
E-ven those in/the most re-mote ar-e-as are awe-struck by your acts;
You cause those liv-ing in/the east and west to praise you.
You vis-it the earth and give it rain;
You make it rich and fer-tile.
God's streams are full of wat-er;
You pro-vide grain for them,
for you have pre-pared the earth in this way.
You sat-u-rate its fur-rows, and soak-ing its plowed ground.
With rain show-ers you sof-ten its soil,
You make its crops grow.
You crown the year with your good bles-sing,
and you leave a-bun-dance in your wake.
The pas-tures in/the wil-der-ness glist-en with moist-ure,
And the hills are clothed with joy.
The mead-ows are clothed with sheep,
and the val-leys are cov-ered with grain.
They shout joy-ful-ly, yes, they sing.
Glory to/the Fath-er, and to/the Son,
and to/the Ho-ly Spi-rit:
as it was in/the be-ginning, is now,
and will be for ever A-men.
Readings
A reading from Revelation 10:1-11
Then I saw another powerful angel descending from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like pillars of fire. He held in his hand a little scroll that was open, and he put his right foot on the sea and his left on the land. Then he shouted in a loud voice like a lion roaring, and when he shouted, the seven thunders sounded their voices. When the seven thunders spoke, I was preparing to write, but just then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders spoke and do not write it down.” Then the angel I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven and swore by the one who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and what is in it, and the earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it, “There will be no more delay! But in the days when the seventh angel is about to blow his trumpet, the mystery of God is completed, just as he has proclaimed to his servants the prophets.” Then the voice I had heard from heaven began to speak to me again, “Go and take the open scroll in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.” So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, “Take the scroll and eat it. It will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth.” So I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it, and it did taste as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter. Then they told me: “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages, and kings.”
Here ends the reading.
Thanks be to God!
Monday - Third Song of Isaiah
Tenor Soprano Response Cantor Bass Alto PDF All
A-rise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of/the Lord has dawned up-on you.
For be-hold, dark-ness covers the land;
deep gloom en-shrouds the peo-ples.
But over you the Lord will rise,
and his glory will ap-pear up-on you.
Na-tions will stream to your light,
and kings to/the bright-ness of your dawn-ing.
Your gates will al-ways be o-pen;
by day or night they will never be shut.
They will call you, The City of/the Lord,
The Zi-on of/the Ho-ly One of Is-ra-el.
Vio-lence will/no more be heard in your land,
ru-in or de-struc-tion with-in your bor-ders.
You will call your walls, Sal-va-tion,
and all your por-tals, Praise.
The sun will/no more be your light by day;
by night you will/not need the brightness of/the moon.
The Lord will be your ever-last-ing light,
and your God will be your glo-ry.
Glory to/the Fath-er, and to/the Son,
and to/the Ho-ly Spi-rit:
as it was in/the be-ginning, is now,
and will be for ever. A-men.
A reading from Matthew 13:36-43
Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him saying, “Explain to us the parable of the darnel in the field.” He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world and the good seed are the people of the kingdom. The poisonous weeds are the people of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. As the poisonous weeds are collected and burned with fire, so it will be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather from his kingdom everything that causes sin as well as all lawbreakers. They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. The one who has ears had better listen!
Here ends the reading.

Monday - You are God
Tenor Soprano Response Cantor Bass Alto PDF All
You are God: we praise you;
You are the Lord; we ac-claim you;
You are the e-ter-nal Fath-er:
All cre-a-tion wor-ships you.
To you all an-gels, all the powers of heav-en,
Cher-u-bim and Ser-a-phim, sing in end-less praise:
Holy, ho-ly, holy Lord, God of power and might,
heav-en and earth are full of your glo-ry.
The glori-ous compan-y of a-postles praises you.
The no-ble fellow-ship of proph-ets praises you.
The white-robed army of mar-tyrs praises you.
Through-out the world the holy Church ac-claims you;
Fath-er, of majes-ty un-bound-ed,
your true and only Son, worthy of all wor-ship,
and the Ho-ly Spi-rit, advo-cate and guide.
Three in one, we praise you for ev-er.
You, Christ, are the king of glo-ry,
the e-ter-nal Son of/the Fath-er.
When you be-came man to set us free
you did not shun the Vir-gin's womb.
You over-came the sting of death
and o-pened the kingdom of heaven to all be-liev-ers.
You are seated at God's right hand in glo-ry.
We be-lieve that you will come and be our judge.
Come then, Lord, and help your peo-ple,
bought with/the price of your own blood,
and bring us with your saints
to glo-ry ever-last-ing.

We be-lieve in God, the Fath-er al-might-y,
cre-a-tor of heaven and earth.
We be-lieve in Je-sus Christ,
his on-ly son, our Lord.
He was con-ceived by/the power of/the Ho-ly Spi-rit
and born of/the Vir-gin Mar-y.
He suffered under Pon-tius Pi-late,
was cruci-fied, died, and was bur-ied.
He de-scended to/the dead.
On the third day he rose a-gain.
He a-scended into heav-en,
and is seated at/the right hand of/the Fath-er.
He will come a-gain
to judge the living and the dead.
We be-lieve in/the Ho-ly Spi-rit,
the _ holy catho-lic Church,

Show us your mer-cy, O Lord;
And grant us your sal-va-tion.
Clothe your minis-ters with righteous-ness;
Let your people sing with joy.
Give peace, O Lord, in all the world;
For only in you can we live in safe-ty.
Lord, keep this na-tion under your care;
And guide us in/the way of justice and truth.
Let your way be known up-on earth;
Your sav-ing health among all na-tions.
Let not the need-y, O Lord, be for-gotten;
Nor the hope of/the poor be taken a-way.
Cre-ate in us clean hearts, O God;
And sus-tain us by your Ho-ly Spi-rit.
Show us your mer-cy, O Lord;
And grant us your sal-va-tion.
Collect of the Day
Almighty God, Lord of heaven and earth: We humbly pray that your gracious providence may give and preserve to our use the harvests of the land and of the seas, and may prosper all who labor to gather them, that we, who are constantly receiving good things from your hand, may always give you thanks; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
A Collect for Peace
Most holy God, the source of all good desires, all right judgements, and all just works: Give to us, your servants, that peace which the world cannot give, so that our minds may be fixed on the doing of your will, and that we, being delivered from the fear of all enemies, may live in peace and quietness; through the mercies of Christ Jesus our Savior.
Amen.
Prayer for Mission
O God and Father of all, whom the whole heavens adore: Let the whole earth also worship you, all nations obey you, all tongues confess and bless you, and men and women everywhere love you and serve you in peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Al-might-y God,
you have given us grace at this time
with one ac-cord
to make our common sup-pli-ca-tion to you;
and you have prom-ised
through your well-be-loved Son
that when two or three are gathered in his Name
you will be in/the midst of them:
Ful-fill now, O Lord, our de-sires and pe-ti-tions
as may be best for us;
granting us in this world knowl-edge of your truth,
and in/the age to come life ever-lasting. A-men.
