HYMNODY (Playlist)

525 The Church's One Foundation    MIDI    PIANO

PARTS     SOPRANO    ALTO    TENOR    BASS
1 The Church's one foundation
is Jesus Christ her Lord;
she is his new creation
by water and the word:
from heaven he came and sought her
to be his holy bride;
with his own blood he bought her,
and for her life he died.
2 Elect from every nation,
yet one o'er all the earth,
her charter of salvation,
one Lord, one faith, one birth;
one holy Name she blesses,
partakes one holy food,
and to one hope she presses,
with every grace endued.
3 Though with a scornful wonder
men see her sore oppressed,
by schisms rent asunder,
by heresies distressed;
yet saints their watch are keeping,
their cry goes up, "How long?"
and soon the night of weeping
shall be the morn of song.
4 Mid toil and tribulation,
and tumult of her war
she waits the consummation
of peace for evermore;
till with the vision glorious
her longing eyes are blessed,
and the great Church victorious
shall be the Church at rest.
5 Yet she on earth hath union
with God, the Three in one,
and mystic sweet communion
with those whose rest is won.
O happy ones and holy!
Lord, give us grace that we
like them, the meek and lowly,
on high may dwell with thee.

LEVAS2 241 Glory to God    MIDI    MELODY

Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to people of good will.
Lord God, heavenly King, O God, almighty Father,
we worship you, we give you thanks,
we praise You for your glory.

Lord Jesus Christ, Only Son of the Father,
Lord God, Lamb of God,
you take away the sins of the world,
have mercy on us;
you are seated at the right hand of the Father,
receive our prayer.
For you alone are the Holy One,
you alone are the Lord,
you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ,
with the Holy Spirit,
in the glory of God the Father.
Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.

41 Christ Has Arisen Alleluia   MIDI   PIANO

Christ has arisen, Alleluia!
Rejoice and Praise Him, Alleluia!
For our Redeemer burst from the tomb
Even from death dispelling the gloom.
Let us sing praise to Him with endless joy.
Death's fearful sting He has come to destroy.
Our sin forgiving, Alleluia!
Jesus is living, Alleluia!

62 In Christ There is no East nor West     MIDI   PIANO

1 In Christ there is no east or west,
in him no south or north,
but one great fellowship of love
throughout the whole wide earth.

2 In Him shall true hearts everywhere
their high communion find;
His service is the golden cord
close-binding humankind.

3 Join hands, disciples of the faith,
whate'er your race may be.
Who serves My Father as a son
are surely kin to me.

4 In Christ now meet both east and west;
in him meet south and north.
All Christly souls are one in him
throughout the whole wide earth.
151 One bread, one body     MIDI   PIANO

[Refrain]
One bread, one body, one Lord of all,
one cup of blessing which we bless
And we though many throughout the earth,
We are one body in this one Lord.

1. Gentile or Jew, servant or free,
woman or man, no more. [Refrain]

2. Many the gifts, many the works,
one in the Lord of all [Refrain]

3. Grain for the fields, scattered and grown
gathered to one for all [Refrain]

42 He Lives    MIDI   PIANO
PARTS    SOPRANO    ALTO    TENOR    BASS

1. I serve a risen Savior, He's in the world today
I know that He is living whatever others say
I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer,
And just the time I need Him, He's always near.

[Refrain]
He lives! He lives! Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me
along life's narrow way.
He Lives! He lives! Salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know he lives?
He lives within my heart.

2. In all the world around me I see His loving care
And though my heart grows weary, I never will despair;
I know that He is leading through all the stormy blast,
The day of His appearing will come at last. [Refrain]

3. Rejoice, rejoice oh Christian, lift up your voice and sing
Eternal hallelujahs to Jesus Christ, the King!
The hope of all who seek him, the help of all who find,
None other is so loving, so good and kind. [Refrain]
